Why Glowmigos
Professional.
Not boring.
Premium does not mean serious. Trustworthy does not mean corporate. Glowmigos is the contractor you actually enjoy having at the house: knows exactly what they're doing, explains it clearly, shows up, does clean work, and makes you smile on the way out.
How it works
Ridiculously understandable.
Four steps for every job. Six for Christmas, because Christmas also has to come down.
Show us the house
A photo and a ZIP is enough. We come look at it at night, because that is the only time it matters.
We design the glow
Zones, fixtures, colour temperature, controls, on paper, before anyone climbs anything.
We install it
Clean mounting, concealed runs, weather-rated parts. Aimed by hand after dark.
Flip the switch
Phone, schedule, or an actual switch. Then forget it exists until you want it.
Design
Roofline, peaks, wreaths, trees. Drawn on your house, not a template.
Hang
Custom-cut strands, straight lines, tested before we leave.
Maintain
Something goes out, someone handles it. Not you, not a ladder.
Remove
January. It disappears.
Store
Labelled for your roofline, kept by us. Your garage stays a garage.
Repeat
Next November it goes back up, faster, because we already know the house.
What we're careful about
Fun is the brand. The work is the work.
People are letting a crew onto an expensive house. The jokes stop at the ladder.
Design before install
Where the light lands is decided first. Fixtures are the last decision, not the first.
Materials
Weather-rated components, sealed connections, mounting that respects the fascia and the stone.
Controls
App, schedules, scenes, and a physical switch for the people who prefer one.
Weather awareness
Snow load, ice, wind, sun. We plan for the season the install has to survive.
Service after
One number. Someone who hung it shows up. Terms in writing with every quote.
Local accountability
Our name is on the truck and the truck is in your neighborhood. That is the warranty that matters most.
Sol on the fine print
You will not find licence numbers, review counts or a warranty banner on this page until they are real and verified. We would rather show you the plan for your house than a badge for ours.
No boring FAQ
The questions people actually ask.
Short answer first. Then the real one. The jokes never get in the way of the answer.
Will permanent lights look like Christmas lights in July?
Not unless you tell them to.
The track hides under the fascia, painted to match, and the default night scene is architectural warm white. Colour only appears when you pick a scene, and a schedule puts it back. Permanent lighting, the whole story.
Do you store the Christmas lights?
Yes.
After removal in January the strands are labelled for your roofline and stored by us. Nothing goes in your garage, nothing tangles, and next November it goes up faster because we already know the house. Christmas lights, start to finish.
Can I make my house team colours?
Yes. Save it once, tap it before kickoff.
Permanent fixtures are individually addressable, so alternating team colours is a pattern, not a compromise. A schedule returns the house to warm white afterwards so nobody has to remember. We do not use team logos or trademarks, just the colours.
Will landscape lights blind my neighbours?
Not if they're designed correctly.
Fixtures are shielded and aimed at night by hand, so the light lands on the tree, the wall or the path and never in a window or a windshield. Good landscape lighting lets you see the property, not the fixtures. How the aiming works.
What happens if a light fails?
You call. Someone who installed it comes out.
Fixtures are modular and replaced in place without rewiring. Service and warranty terms are set out in writing with every quote, specific to the system installed. We do not print a blanket claim here that might not apply to your house.
Do you work with my landscaper, pool builder or builder?
Yes, and earlier is better.
Pre-wire, fixture placement and controls are much easier before the patio is poured or the fascia goes on. Trade partners: you build it, we make it glow.
